Setup

With the T-Post Driver System, all you need in addition is a 120-volt power source. An outlet will work, or you can use a generator (output wattage of the generator should be at least the wattage of your jackhammer. Our jackhammer is 1700). If you need an extension cord, we recommend either a 50-foot-or-shorter 12-gauge cord or a 100-foot-or-shorter 10-gauge cord (long, skinny wires tend to reduce voltage). If you have your own jackhammer or a rental, we offer the Collar and round-nosed bit that can work with any 30mm (PH65) hex-shank jackhammer.

Use

Once you have a power source and the bit installed in your jackhammer, take a t-post and slide the Collar over the top of a post and rest it on one of the lower studs. Next, pick up your jackhammer and guide the ball-end of the bit into the socket on the Collar. Then just pull the trigger and hammer away.
